This is one of those ideas that make you wonder, "why didn't anybody think of this before?!" Getting in and out of the car is a breeze now, and the fact that it can stand up on its own to dry? Brilliant! The fact that you have to rather carefully walk tilted into the wind, because it will pop inside out at every breeze? Not so brilliant. (Where they get the claims that it does not do so is a mystery to me) Now if my clear bubble umbrella and this one could somehow get together and have a baby, then the ultimate would be achieved.

~BACKGROUND~Gift for the wife!~PROS~- Definitely works well for getting in and out of the car~CONS~- "won't wet your floor, for the wet side is inside" - not true. The black part (outer) folds in and does not "contain" the water.- Because of the design of the umbrella folding outward or "up" versus the traditional inward or "down", medium or heavy winds can and do blow the umbrella towards the closed position.  A traditional umbrella would withstand the same winds.~CONCLUSION~It's definitely a cool idea and umbrella.  It has it's drawbacks, but it's a keeper for the "in and out of the car" functionality.

This is possibly THE best umbrella out there, no more dripping all over my car, in the supermarket, at home!  It's well made, very light and attractive, I've been asked about it every time it rains,  I whip it open and people ask about it. The seller was fast and well packed my umbrella. Definitely a 5 star product!
