The Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Care, and Epilepsy sections are very well done and informative. The "Neurology Consult" section was removed and did not serve much of a clear purpose in the first edition. The Pediatric Neurology section was also removed and is integrated into the rest of the handbook.
Review: Very useful! - This has been a great little book so far. I have the hospital internal medicine book too and love it! Handy to carry with you or just keep on the desk. Takes a bit to figure out the abbreviations they use, but there is a guide and you catch on quick, pretty intuitive.

The updated edition is very well organized compared to the prior edition. The Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Care, and Epilepsy sections are very well done and informative. The "Neurology Consult" section was removed and did not serve much of a clear purpose in the first edition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not as nicely organized as Pocket Medicine

I'd give this a 3.5/5. Compared to Pocket Medicine: I like pocket medicine better. I felt that the book was more organized and was very clinical. Chest pain: etiologies, workup etc. I feel with this book the organization is not as good. There's no nicely defined chapters as in pocket medicine. The information is definitely good and uptodate with the new edition, however I find that many times it's quicker to just search on my phone than try to find it in the book.
