Input is 100 to 240VAC and the output is for 12VDC, 2A. There is a converter to split the 12V/5V for any 3.5" or 2.5" drives. **Q: What indicator lights does this have? USB light? SATA device connected light? Busy light indicating that data is being moved around?** A: It has a power light indicating power on. It has a USB light indicating connection and also same light flickers when transferring data. **Q: Can i connect a 5 bay sata tower to this unit then to imac ?** A: Thanks for asking. No, I assume your 5 bay SATA tower may be using eSATA with Port Multiplier Function. This adapter will not support Port Multiplier Function. There is a possibility that if you connected it using the right cable (SATA to eSATA) it MAY see ONLY 1 (the first) of the 5 drives. That is just a "MAY" because there is not Port Multiplier Function. This device makes it just too simple. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly good! *by A***R on December 29, 2025* Seems like a cheap, plastic gimmick, but it worked just as advertised. I adapted SATA, IDE, HDDs & ODDs. All worked fine. I even recovered a crashed external HDD that I was told would never work again. Transferred perfectly. The only issues were getting both data & power cables to fit side-by-side on the IDE drives (plug in data first, then power), and making sure the jumper is positioned correctly. Recovered valuable files I thought I'd never see again.
