The three are a roller, spaghetti and fettuccine **Q: Can these be used without the use of the pasta roller as well?** A: No. I don't see how it could. The pasta sheet needs to be very thin (translucent thin) when it is fed into these pasta cutter attachments. **Q: are there any plastic parts** A: There are no plastic parts in the actual piece. There is a plastic brush that comes with it to sweep out all of the dough, though. **Q: Does this make lasagna size paste** A: Note that there is NO ROLLER included in this particular set. This is just the ribbon (lasagnette) and angel hair (cappellini) CUTTERS.
