At first I was not crazy about this product. If you do not shake well and spray from a distance it's difficult to get the yellow out. But after finally getting the hang of it I really liked the product a lot. It worked for me and my roots are a light brownish color. It helped to lighten my roots to match my blonde highlights. **Q: Would this be acceptable for gray/white hair?** A: sure. i have some left from pre covid days when i was still highlighted blond. covid+! i let my hair grow out and it is a lovely gray. i use batiste on a need to basis. works great. does not mess up my 'who knew' beautiful grey hair!! **Q: are there any hazardous chemicals in this spray?** A: I'm not an expert so I don't know what would qualify as a hazardous chemical.
