Will this work on glass?** A: No, this won't work well with glass...you need something with a carbide or diamond tip to mark glass **Q: Can this be used to make/improve panel lines on plastic model kits?** A: I would think so, it is very sharp and hardened metal. **Q: is this scriber made in the USA?** A: Yes it is made in USA **Q: What material(s) should i not use this on? i don't want to damage the tip.** A: Since this is only a hardened steel tip not carbide, I wouldn't use it on anything harder than mild steel. However if you are using layout fluid and only striking lines through the dried fluid you n use it on almost anything. Tips are replaceable. Bill ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***M on 16 September 2023* This scriber is a nice size. The weight and knurled grip makes it feel quality and stable in your hand. I wondered about the steel tip as my other scriber has a carbide tip, but so far this works just as well on all the materials I've used it on. One handy little note is that the tip can be turned round and the point sort of stored in the handle. I'm not sure if you are supposed to do this but it does work, although it doesn't seem to tighten quite as well as when in its proper position, so the tip can sometimes come loose when doing this.
