## Description

The Master Lock No. 527D Covered Solid Body Padlock features a 2in (51mm) wide black vinyl covered body for scratch and corrosion resistance. The 5/16inin (8mm) diameter shackle adjusts from 2-3/8in (6cm) to 5-15/16in (15cm) long; and is made of vinyl-clad hardened steel, offering extra resistance to cutting, sawing and surface marring. The 4-pin cylinder prevents picking and the dual locking levers provide resistance against prying and hammering.

**Q: What's the horizontal shackle clearance?**
A: 1 inch between the inside of each silver bar to the other silver bar.  2 1/2 inches from the top of the black horseshoe to the black lock at the uppermost position.

**Q: What is the maximum distance btwn the top of the lock and the of the shackle?  The length of the item being locked is 5.5 inches.**
A: 5.5" is the inside max. lock distance.

**Q: You list the maximum shackle length as 5 and 15/16 inches. But other answers say 5.5 inches. Which is correct?**
