I replaced mine due to my computer being unable to hold onto the current date and time then loudly complaining about it, which per Google can be the CMOS battery. And it was! I waited a couple months to review in case I was wrong or this battery craps out but so far it’s perfect.Replacing was much harder for me than the online demos suggested because I could not unscrew multiple internal screws (even with my appropriately tiny screwdrivers!) and I was too impatient to order then wait for a tiny screw removal tool. There were at least 4 more tiny screws in my computer than on the pictures of what’s supposed to be inside my computer lol. I ended up risking damage by very slightly bending the plastic I couldn’t get off and squeezing this little guy in. This ultimately made it slightly harder to get the external cover back on but I managed.
