It unsnap at the top and you take the straps apart at the bottom and throw it in the wash and dryer. I put back the snaps first and then the straps at the bottom, they are a bit of a pain but be patient. I did not have the frame opened all the way when putting it back together. Once your done use a little force to push down the 2 side that lock it. Mine looked brand new again.
