The thicker your cello, the higher heat you may need to create a seal. The manual suggests for 0.022mm, go 135° C. For 0.3mm, 150°. For .04mm, 155°. I do not know the thickness of the cheap cello I bought, which claims to be twice as thick as its competitors, but I get away with 130°. I guess the lesson is start low and if you're not getting results, turn it up. Just monitor your underlying material. But you should be fine. Good luck! **Q: what thickness of cellophane works best with this machine?** A: Hi, it is recommended to use 0.022mm cellophane film for packing common boxes, and 0.03mm or 0.04mm cellophane film for packing cosmetic boxes. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product *by on Reviewed in the United States July 24, 2026* Works great! The metal stamp is the MVP of wrapping items ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most important thing to know is their Customer Service *by on Reviewed in the United States June 8, 2021* I was searching for a table-top, low volume, quality heating device to heat-wrap (take care not to confuse heat-wrap vs. shrink-warp, which are two very different processes) my products in cellophane. I had no prior experience, but found the heating device to be user-friendly (the "poker" is a huge help in the process). For my purpose I give the device 5 Stars. By far my biggest issue was with the right cellophane. The company does offer one precut sheet on Amazon, but I needed 4 different size sheets and was hoping to find the correct size precut to make the wrapping easiest as possible. One has to do a fair amount of research to understand the exact type and thickness of the cellophane needed. I searched from coast to coast and could find no one that would be precut for a reasonable price. I was ready to give up and return the device when the company offered to precut the exact size sheets I needed, at a very reasonable price, and the company figured out a way to actually sell 2500 of each size via Amazon, which gave me the confidence I needed, knowing that if anything went wrong, Amazon would advocate on my behalf. Any idea how much 10,000 sheets weigh? A lot!! The shipping cost alone could easily exceed that of the sheets. By being able to order via Amazon, I was able to advantage of Prime Free Shipping. But, in order for this transaction to take place, ultimately I needed to dialogue directly with the company, outside the Amazon framework. So, after many texts via WhatsUp, we finally agreed upon the size and the price. Upon receiving the best wrapped package I have ever seen (which is necessary to transport 10,000 sheets from overseas!!!) I realized the company made a mistake in the sizing for two of the sheets. When I pointed this out, the spokesperson immediately stated they would replace them (5000 sheets) for no extra charge; rare these days!!! I found their Customer Service to be excellent and timely, in spite of the time difference. After a reasonably short wait, the replacement sheets arrived, expertly packaged as before! So, in addition to giving the device 5 Stars, I also give the most reputable company and their outstanding customer service 5 stars+!! RY ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality cellophane machine *by on Reviewed in the United States August 21, 2021* This was my first time using a cellophane machine. The machine is very high quality and easy to use. It's made out of sturdy metal and comes equipped with a solid temperature gauge, a power cord, and a handy stamping puck. You can use the puck to tack your cellophane around the product and then tighten the cellophane by placing each side on the machine for a second. Works like a charm! The company that sells them is also very responsive and will custom cut cellophane to the size you want. I highly recommend them. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hanchen Cellophane Wrapping Machine Manual Cellophane Overwrapping Machine Desktop Heating Sealing Machine for BOPP Perfume Cosmetics Poker Box PVC Heat Sealer Film (LS12-200) - 100 ft Clear Cellophane Wrap Roll (31.5 in x 100 ft) - 3 Mil Thicken Cellophane Roll, Clear Cellophane Bags Large, Clear Wrapping Paper for Flower Gift Baskets Wrap (31.5" fold into 16") - PerkHomy Clear Cellophane Wrap Roll 16" x 100' 3 Mil Thick Cellophane For Gift Basket Treats Goodie Wrapping Craft Flower Bouquet Plastic (Clear, 100ft (16in Width)) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.es/products/237098756-cellophane-wrapping-machine-manual-cellophane-overwrapping-machine-desktop-heating-sealing](https://www.desertcart.es/products/237098756-cellophane-wrapping-machine-manual-cellophane-overwrapping-machine-desktop-heating-sealing) --- *Product available on Desertcart Spain* *Store origin: ES* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
