**Q: Is the case water proof?**
A: I would consider the case, water repellent. I wouldn't recommend submerging the case. It closes extremely tight, and it is plastic. I think it's the best I've ever had. Good  Luck!

**Q: Is the magnet strong? I bought some of these somewhere else but the magnets were so weak it wouldn't stay magnetized to the car.**

A: Probably because it is not water tight. I found it to be fine, it's under my truck on the frame. Holds just fine on good metal.

The magnet was stronger than I expected, which is good. The seal seems OK. The unit is much larger than my needs, but I imagine this might be a plus for some people (I made a copy just for door access, without a large chip/head, so it won't start the vehicle; my issue is just to prevent accidentally locking my fob inside the vehicle). Although the increased mass/size will make it more obvious and more likely to dislodge. I put the key in a sealed bag, then in the unit, then added some foam to prevent the key from moving or rattling. Time will tell if it stays where I put it...
