Along with the conditioner, it left my hair feeling very clean. My baseline for comparison these days is the Pharmacopia Citrus shampoo, which is wonderful. In comparison, the Pharmacopia (citrus is best) will leave your hair feeling silky and soft. This Majestic Pure Argan will be a good alternate to use to mix things up. But if I wanted to impress someone, I'd go with the silky and soft! :) Using this Argan did not make my hair silky and soft, surprisingly, but it felt impressively clean and devoid of chemicals or soap; like perfectly clean hair.
