I went with this one, partly because of the reputation of their knives. I have a food sealer for sous vide, and it's big, bulky and sometimes doesn't seal. Not so with this. It's easy to use and very handy. So I've started using this to sous vide, as well. I bought a bunch of bags at the same time I bought the sealer. They are proprietary to the sealer, and I understand that other bags won't work with this brand and vice versa. I found this to be a good quality machine. And good quality bags. Using it is very intuitive and in no time at all. Charging it was fairly quick. Using it is as simple as placing the unit on the red seal and pushing the button. In a few seconds, all the air is sucked out of the food and the bag is securely sealed. Breaking the seal and getting the food out is easy, too. I also bought the sealer for wine bottles, and that works great as well. So far, the principle works and my leftovers are lasting a lot longer in the fridge. It's portable and I don't have to take out a large sealer machine each time. I ordered a bunch of vacuum seal bags from Syntus Vacuum Sealer Bags and it worked great. The suction is still working on the bag. I also got a hard zippered case for this to protect from scratches. I'm really surprised how much suction this could produce.
