Review: A little pricy. But, compared to the pans it is night and day easy. - Even the wife likes this one. We are now retired and look for easy prep ideas to make life a little less of a hassle. Heating it up in 2 minutes we then micro-fry eggs without breaking the yoke. We have found the sweet spot for timing over easy, over medium, and hard yoke eggs. It all depends on your microwave, but we have yet to cook a rubbery egg. The only complaint I have is the silicone covering gets EXTREAMLY hot and is deceiving if you pick it up without a hot pad, you can be halfway to the table before your hand is telling you to drop it. Even with the learning curve, it is a great product, and we use it almost every day. Cleanup is a breeze with a quick rinse and wipe. I have not had food get under the silicone edges or stick to anything. I would buy again.

A: It's about a 3" diameter.  If you've had an egg mcmuffin, that's basically what you get with these. It's great for when I want an egg sandwich.

A: For cooking a hamburg you can choose the Maconee Micro sandwich maker.
This Maconee microwave egg maker inner height is not enough for a hamburg.

**Q: Will you be able to have a runny yoke? I like the runny yoke**
A: Yes, it is available. to get a runny yoke effect you need to shorten the microwave time.  for example, preheat the egg cooker in the microwave and put eggs, and microwave for 2 mins. 

Can't tell you the exact cooking time for the runny yoke effect, because the cooking time will vary depending on the power of the different microwaves.  so you need to have several trials to find the best cooking time for your microwave to get your desired result!

Even the wife likes this one. We are now retired and look for easy prep ideas to make life a little less of a hassle. Heating it up in 2 minutes we then micro-fry eggs without breaking the yoke. Works great for making breakfast sandwiches. Nothing sticks, cooks well, easy to clean, affordable and easy to use. It does get rather hot in the microwave so be be careful.
