**Q: Where was it made?**
A: German Engineered but made in Poland.This will last over 10years + or more.My mom bought a Simens blender and it lasted like that it was made in Germany.

**Q: I am looking for an immersion blender I can immerse in a jar of natural peanut butter to mix in the separated oil.  Will this work for that?  Thanks.**
A: I think the best way to blend the oil into natural peanut butter is as follows, 
1. let the jar sit upright for a day so less oil is clinging to the lid 
2. Remove the lid and heat the jar in a microwave at high power for 1/2 minute
3. Stir.

When heated, the viscosity of the pb is much lower so it’s a lot easier to stir.

**Q: Does it blend ice?**
A: It can crush ice but nit very well. You need a lot of horse power for that kind of thing and this isn't really designed for that kind of thing. You have to move plunge, move plunge, and its just not practical besides the possibly burning out the motor. A blender is a much better appliance for crushing ice.

**Q: How many Watts does this mixer have?**
A: Hello, this unit is 350 watts. Thank you.

I purchased this mixer about ten months ago and first thing that impressed me was the build quality. The Braun MultiQuick 5 feels sturdy and well-crafted, giving me confidence in its durability. The design is sleek and ergonomic, making it comfortable to hold and control, even during extended blending sessions. One of the standout features of this hand blender is its exceptional power. The 700-watt motor delivers strong and consistent blending performance, effortlessly tackling everything from soft fruits to tough vegetables. I've used it to make silky smooth soups, creamy sauces, and even smoothies, and it performs flawlessly every time. The variable speed control is another great feature that allows me to adjust the blending speed according to the consistency I desire.
