I have this in a 30-40ft garage and it worked very well. This thing really moves a lot of water through the pads and the large fan evaporates it and chills the air quickly. I have it about 20 feet from where I do most of the work and the temperature at that distance was down to 79 degrees. It definitely feels cooler the closer you get.As for value, this cooler was much less expensive than the big name competitor.
