After doing an in depth research of all available resources online, I became a believer and ordered 2 of the PhoneSoap Pro model. When the package arrived, one of the 2 was defective. The lightening icon on the top cover would turn RED after the cleaning cycle is complete. I called customer service and was asked to return it for a replacement unit. The replacement model arrived within a few days and did not have any issues. I then went online to chat with PhoneSoap customer service about the defect and was told the RED light on a new unit may be a cracked light bulb that occurred during shipment. The RED light may also occur if the unit is over used to let the user know it is overheating and needs to cool down. I was also informed that the PhoneSoap unit comes with a LIFETIME warranty on the bulb and a 1 year warranty on normal wear and tear of the product. Their website also offers an 1 year extended warranty for $4.99 which includes shipping both ways and normal wear & tear of the product. As for the other complaints about it being difficult to open and close, you do have to be careful but, compared to older models that slid around on the counter, this one sticks down so you can use appropriate pressure to grip the top and open. I do wish it had some something to prevent it from slamming close, you get used to it. Just be careful. **Q: Why is Indicator light is now red** A: I have noticed that when we try to force the lid closed, try to unplug when it was curating, or when we fill it with way to much stuff that the light switches red. I fix the problem, but sometimes unplugging and plugging back does the trick. If nothing of this works it is simply not working (defective). **Q: How long does it require to complety sanitize?** A: 4-5 minutes **Q: Silly question, but will a tamagotchi on fit in this one?** A: Not silly at all. I may not know how small the Tamagotchi is, last time I owned one was 20 years ago, but I know I can fit my Samsung earpieces charging box, small things like pens, something not higher than like 4" or so? I was initially looking for something to clean my phone, but I never thought it could also clean other things like my eye glasses, credit cards, driver's license, lanyard (with metal clip), rings, car fob, pill box, pen, and more.
