Not really surprising since the quality of that brand was on the decline, to the point where the mini USB stick that comes with it comes apart after limited use. I've been through quite a number of different brand/generic versions of the "Quiet" mouse since then, with mixed experience. I came close with the Philips quiet mouse. It felt well made, was very responsive and quiet. But the shape seems to be more for smaller hands. It streamlined with less of a turtle shell arc to its back unlike most mouse. If they came out with a 2nd version with that more round top, then it would be my go-to choice. Now I stumbled upon this RAPOO brand while furiously searching for alternatives. Right out of the box, this one is a winner. Sturdy plastic build. Nice tactile feel. Responsive. Nice shape. And it came with a battery to boot. At first it didn't work when I put in the battery, but then I saw it has an on/off switch underneath. It comes in a quiet "wired" version and I believe a non-quiet version. So, do take the time to read the description to know what it is you're looking for. All in all, I would give this a definite recommend.
