    Nice material, a bit big

These shorts are cute, but probably better for a boy even though advertised as unisex. Since we didn't know the sex, we chose this so that baby could have something to wear that would be comfortable besides pants in this heat.  But she does look more like a boy in them unless I have her in a pink top. I like the material and the ease of putting it on and taking it off my baby.  She couldn't care less though.  LOL.  Also, as some others posted, it does tend to run a bit big for a straight newborn.  My baby was born small though - 5 lb 15 oz, so it was a given it would be big.  Now that she is about 10 lbs, it fits better, but still looks long on her.  However, I like it because it's just at the right length to go from outside heat to inside AC.  I think this should be advertised to fit a 3 month old or over 12 lbs.  That might make it easier to get a good idea about the fit.

I bought these shorts based on the other reviews I was reading. I'm glad I listened. These shorts are such a soft cotton! They're lightweight enough for summer time too. I really like them. People were saying they run big and when I first opened the package I thought they were right- after the first washing they did shrink a teeny bit, but they are still fine & I think true to size. I like them so much I bought a second set in the other color- they're perfect for slipping over a onesie!

They do run big, but babies grow! No too much of a problem. They are soft, and loose for summer. Its the kind of cotton that get softer when you wash. The colors are that softer faded colors, love it. Can't wait for the other colors to arrive.
