Review: awesome little gadget for the price - I’ve been using these rolling guitar capos for a bit, and they’re honestly pretty cool! The one-handed sliding design is a game-changer—moving between frets is super smooth, no messing with clamps. They’re lightweight, feel solid with the stainless steel, and the rubber roller keeps my strings safe from scratches. No buzz, tunes stay spot-on. Works great on my acoustic and ukulele! Only gripe? Takes a sec to get the hang of rolling it just right, and I wish they’d included a size guide for weird necks. Still, awesome little gadget for the price—my guitarist buddies are jealous!
Review: I’m glad I bought it! - The product isn’t quite as easy to manipulate as I seen in the commercial, but it does serve the purpose and with practice you can smoothly transfer its position on the frets with the flick of a thumb. I’m glad I bought it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: For ukulele?**
A: You can use these rolling capos to tune tones of folk classic acoustic electric guitars, ukuleles, mandolins and banjos, etc.

**Q: Does the top roller flex to accomodate various guitar fretboard radii? I'm a luthier. I've seen radii from 7' to dead flat.**
A: i bought the Glider rolling capo by Greg Bennett and i bought some cheaper ones by CHROHS made in China. The Glider has a softer roller and so i would think it would accomodate variations in radii more than the Rohs one for they are made of hard plastic and would be less likely to accomodate various radii. Hope that helps. Bennett one:$30 /rohs one $5.

**Q: Do they make a roller for a flat fretboard?**
A: Good question, I’m not sure. But I’d guess they do. Sorry. I could use one, too.

**Q: Why is this 2 pack 11. Something, while the single pack us 29.00?🤔**
A: Not sure why, perhaps the single pack is the better quality manufacturer.I used one from The two pack, after couple of uses disintegrated in to a few pieces , I just threw the second one in the trash.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but could easily be better.
*by U***E on September 19, 2021*

This design is a great idea but I think this could be a little better. First suggestion I would make is that the spring tension is a little bit lighter. If it was too light it would be useless but I think it may be too strong. I used this on a Martin Acoustic and a Gibson Les Paul and it worked but didn't roll very easy because the springs are so tight. This also makes me use a little more force than I would like to for putting a capo on the necks of these guitars. The pieces touching the neck are rubber and I don't think they'll damage it but I don't like to use a lot of force while handling these instruments. I also used it on a Charvel strat style guitar with a thinner neck (yeah, Charvel, I bought it in the 80s). Use of this capo was a little smoother on this guitar given the thinner neck. In all three of these cases the capo worked well while playing. For my last test I put it on a Taylor 12-string and it was not usable. In addition to the issue with tension, the guitar just wasn't in tune with the capo on and didn't do a good job of applying equal pressure to all strings to produce a nice solid note. I checked the intonation of the guitar without the capo and it was pretty good. I worked with the position for a bit and got some improvement, but it wasn't perfect and I had to work with it much more than I would want to at a gig. I think this problem is caused by the hard rubber roller and the degree of concavity of it's surface. The neck of this guitar has less of a concave surface than the others and therefore the capo didn't fit it as well. However, I think if the roller was a little bit softer it would push down all the strings, even with lighter tension in the springs. The picture also shows that you can store it over the guitar's nut when not in use. I tried this and it was first difficult to get it over the nut because of the amount of tension, and then once there it was pressing too much on the strings and putting the guitar out of tune. There's a more expensive version of this capo with a person's name as the brand. I'm going to give that one a try and see if it's any better. This one seems to work ok in most cases if you want an in expensive capo that can be rolled into different positions during your set, but the clip capos would move to another position even faster.
