One note, as another reviewer pointed out, that Jarrow previously used a different patented extract called Sensoril, it seems like until about two years ago, but now uses the KSM66 extract. Different extracts have different experiences sometimes even for the same person, and the Sensoril has a reputation for calming, while the KSM66 has a reputation for being more invigorating. Keep that in mind reading mine and other recent reviews compared to anything from 2015 or before. I find this Ashwagandha KSM66 extract to be stimulating without the "revved up" feeling of caffeine. I get the experience of inner strength, energy, stamina, focus, and concentration, which lasts all through out the day. This patented extract is very potent - I started out taking one capsule three times a day and had to cut back because it was too much. I backed off to two times a day, and then discovered that I do best taking one to two capsules in the morning depending on how I feel that day, and then it last well into the afternoon and evening for as long as I need it. Contrary to what others have said, it does not help me sleep it keeps me awake, so that's why I switched to the morning only dosing. Also, two capsules at once is stronger than one capsule twice daily and lasts longer through out the day. I highly recommend this Ashwagandha extract as an adaptogen for whatever your needs may be - you basically have to try it and see if it makes a valuable contribution to your life and your burden of stress and exhaustion. Just remember this is a potent extract, and use accordingly. I plan to keep ordering and using this high quality Jarrow product for the forseeable future.

I struggle with chronic stress, generalized anxiety/worry, and poor concentration due to a stressful job, anxious disposition, and probably some degree of ADHD. I have tried many, many supplements over the years and most have done absolutely nothing. I got this after noticing that a Yogi tea with Ashwagandha in it helped to significantly improve my sleep, plus the recommendation of a friend who is trained in Chinese medicine who said Ashwagandha has been transformative for her. I wanted the KSM-66 version because I read online that this apparently has good support for stress relief and energy, which is what I wanted. I take just 1 capsule in the daytime and I notice a reduction in the effects of stress (like I am buffered against it a bit so I don't get tanked by it as easily), a very natural lift in mood (happier, bubblier, less negative), improved focus (not sure if a direct effect or as a product of the aforementioned), and a natural bump of energy. All of this is perceptible and definitely NOT a placebo effect. And the effects feel totally natural, and not cracked out; no unpleasant, bracing, physiological arousal, like with synthetic stimulants. The best way I can describe it is like a natural, mild Adderall feeling, again without the cracked aspect or crash. I'm also pleasantly surprised that some days I take it (not all), I feel a bump in libido as well. I have been very stressed out lately and not working out as much, and my libido has been in the toilet. It is nice to see it come back a bit! I was using Ashwagandha for a few weeks and felt like its effect was lessening so I took a couple week break and am back on it now, and I felt its effects immediately. A: Ive found regular ashwagandha capsules dont do much for me, i almost dont feel any difference... I have crippling anxiety, body aches, nausea, fatigue, seasonal depression, etc... Ksm has honestly been the BEST "anxiety medication" i have ever found. I personally strongly recommend it.

A: My bottle shows only KSM-66. My understanding is that KSM-66 is not as concentrated as Sensoril, but has far less side effects due to extraction method. The only exception is if you are sensitive or allergic to dairy (milk).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like Sensoril better

This has the KSM-66, which I heard was better than the Sensoril. I began taking the Sensoril (by a different brand: Life Extension Optimized Ashwaganda Extract) and loved it. It not only relaxed my racing mind, but gave me a boost of energy. I seemed to come out of my mild depression too and felt overall positive. After reading about KSM-66, I decided to give it a shot. It made me feel different. I didn't feel as calm and my racing thoughts returned. I also become a little on edge. It didn't occur to me at first that it was the KSM-66. I decided to switch back to the Sensoril and within one day, I had the calm mind and a boost in energy. Everyone's body chemistry works differently, so what works best for me, may not for you. It is my opinion, that one should trying both the Sensoril and KSM-66 to see (at different times, of course). I had tried just powdered Ashwagandha a few years ago and felt nothing from it after 2 months, so I stopped taking it, but again, some people report great results with just the powder. I think the different types of Ashwagandha is subjective to body chemistry, age, and maybe medications that are currently being taking. One thing is clear, I won't be without it! I've never taken an herb that has had such a noticeable impact on me!
