The item is made in China and the material is leather/canvas and nylon. This item arrived as promised from Amazon. This is a sturdy back pack with lots of places to store items. There are least 8 different areas that open up with a zipper for storage. There are side ccompartments and ones on the back for storage. There are two large main compartments to slide a laptop into. You can easily carry 2 laptops in this backpack of at least 15-17 inches with no problem.. One compartment for the laptop is padded with a velcro strap to hold it in place. You can easily slide your laptop in.I love the back pack and will get a lot of use of it. The straps are padded as well. There are also pads at the top back part of the back pack so it does not hurt your back and shoulders. There is also a place to plug in a USB cable too.I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this product.
