Just to be frank with anyone, this remotely controlled device will only work with the Digten device! **Q: does the thermostat read the temperature from the outlet or the remote?** A: The sensor is built in the remote. Also we have another thermostat(B07SJ75TFL) it read temperature from outlet **Q: can I set it to 35 F to keep tender plants from freezing?** A: You could set the Run temperature at 33F and Stop temperature at 37F. The thermostat will start to work when the current temperature is lower than 33F, and won't stop working until the current temperature reaches 37F. **Q: Help need instructions on how to install on a Wall ac unit?** A: Make sure your AC unit will turn on/off when you plug it in / unplug it. Older ones do, but some of the newer ones do not. If the one you have does not, you will not be able to use this. Also: turning an AC on/off this way makes your AC less efficient. Run on its own thermostat, the compressor shuts off, then the fan a bit later, getting more 'cool' out of the evaporator, making the unit more efficient.
