But, this thing is great!! My V15 fits perfectly with about a 2 inch clearance above the floor. It seems very sturdy. To be safe from dogs chasing cats though, I will keep it in the laundry room. It's a pretty heavy rod iron and went together easily. All the hardware and 4 thick rubbery pads to protect your foors come with it. An allen wrench and regular wrench are included. You just need a phillips screw driver. The washers were a little tight to fit on the 2 screws that hold the wall hanging part that comes with your Vacuum. No biggie...I found plenty in my garage that worked well. It's exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the one. *by K***K on March 28, 2024* Cast iron with powder coated paint. Comes in 3 pieces and is pretty simple to put together. The instructions are a little off, but it's really not that difficult to figure out. I have 2 of these; one for a dyson v8 and a dyson v12 slim. Both fit just fine. The base is solid as well. As long as you have all of the original pieces to your vaccum, you should have no issues. I am happy with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems like it will do the job well. *by A***H on October 30, 2023* So far I'm completely satisfied with the construction of the stand. The installation was a tiny bit confusing. I had to refer back to the instructions in the actual Amazon listing, and then realized that they included one extra fastener of every type. This is what led to the initial confusion. When looking for the three fasteners for the base, I initially tried the two that hold the charger to the stand plus the one extra. This didn't make a very secure hold at all. After removing them and switching to three of the four screws, the stand was much more secure. Everything else went in extremely well. The only problem wasn't with the stand, it was with the actual docking station from Dyson. At this point, my vacuum is hanging off of it. It seems very sturdy and secure.
