Review: This stuff works! - This stuff is great! I had a bunch of rust on the inside of a trunk lid in areas that weren't easily accessible. I sealed the edges and poured almost the whole gallon in and waited. 8 hours later and almost all the rust was gone! You can see by the pictures a before and after of the same area. That last picture you can see the rust line that shows exactly where the solution was sitting and working before I had to rotate it. I can see how it would be expensive in large amounts if you are doing large panels but if you are restoring a car and want to keep most of the original metal then this is great stuff. A little bit of thought on how to contain the product is all you need for this stuff to go a long way.

**Q: Does it work on chrome ?**
A: Yes, it will remove rust on chrome but don't leave it on longer than necessary.

**Q: can i use por 15 rust remover on a radiator flush**
A: Hello,  yes you may use it in your radiator as a flush,  but it is meant to have items submerged in it to be most effective.   I don't think it will remove much of the rust if you "flush" it through the radiator.   You'd need to allow time for the liquid to sit and react with the interior surfaces (8-12 hours), then flush it out.

**Q: Can this be mixed with water or something ? Or do I have to buy 15 gallons to submerge my motorcycle gas tank**
A: Fill your tank up with rinsed grave, stainless steel BBs or vibratory Sander media and a little bit of water, then shake the bejesus out of it. Rinse, repeat until you're satisfied. Do the last rinse with hot, hot water to heat up the tank, then dump it. The heat will evaporate the water.

**Q: Can this be put on with a pump sprayer**
A: It needs time to remove the rust. I guess it could be put on with a pump sprayer but it needs to stay wet to work and you might be using a lot of product to achieve that.

Used on restoration of two rust covered carbon steel pocket knives. At 12 hours it had stripped away the corrosion and loosened up the slip joints as well. Easy to follow directions. Easy cleanup.
