Mounted up perfectly and flew this flag for a day. When I got home I pulled the staff from the mount and ran the setscrew in enough such that I wouldn't worry about it vibrating out and getting lost (the intention was to leave the mount on the rack permanently, only removing the staff/flag when I wasn't wanting to fly a flag). The setscrew hole is a through-hole, drilled and tapped all the way into the mounting staff hole. I only turned the screw a few turns when it started getting tight. At this point I stopped, sprayed a bit of WD40 into the hole and began trying to back it out. No luck, as it galled in the threads.I've worked my entire adult life (I'm 58) in the metal-manufacturing realm (oil/gas valves and instrumentation). I knew instantly when the screw started binding that there was a problem likely caused by an errant chip left in the thread where the threaded hole broke out into the staff hole. No amount of gentle persuasion would allow the removal of the setscrew. More aggressive attempts resulted in the Allen-head of the setscrew being wallowed out. Fortunately for me, I have tool/die resources that will allow me to, 1) mill the tip off the stuck setscrew which is currently protruding into the staff mounting hole and keeping me from being able to even slide the staff into the hole, and 2) drill tap a new hole 180° from the existing.I've worked in the manufacturing business my entire adult life and I know things just happen. Here's the rub; when I called Pro Pad and thoroughly explained the situation they indicated they'd warranty the part, but I'd have to send it back to them for examination first. I asked if they would give me a FedEx account number or prepay a FedEx/UPS mailer so I could do that and they said, "no, you have to pay the shipping to us". Excuse me? This is your screw up and I've got to pay shipping to you, just so you can look at the part and then toss it into the scrap bin? I don't think so. They would not budge any more than the faulty setscrew would.The Pro Staff product is generally a good product and that's the only reason I didn't give this rating one star instead of two. This one obviously went awry. But, their level of customer service (or lack thereof) is not deserving of anything higher than two stars.I would HIGHLY recommend that, before mounting your unit to your bike, get the appropriate sized tap and chase the threads on the setscrew hole prior to installing the setscrew. This will almost certainly avert the problem I've experienced. Good luck. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ American Made - Quality product *by B***B on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2015* This is a top notch flag kit. I have had mine for 2 weeks now and put about 1000 miles on the bike with the flag flying (don't keep it on all of the time) and the flag has no signs of wear. That includes hundreds of miles on interstate @ speeds of 80+. Little expensive but again excellent product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flags: *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2016* They are a perfect for my triglide and the only problem is the flag poles topper does not come off so that something else could be put on them. That's the only thing that I would change about the set.
