**Q: can you change the strings on this  ukulele?**
A: You can change the strings on any well made (from a reputable company) ukuleles. I even switched the strings over because I'm a lefty, and since the bridge (the white bar for supporting the strings on a ukulele) is completely symmetrical there is no drop in quality of sound or usage!

**Q: is it easy to tune makala ukulele?**
A: Yes, I use my phone app, and sometimes clip on tuner. Mine came with Aquila strings, and hardly ever needs tuning, and I've had it 3 mos.

**Q: Where is this instrument made?**
A: Petaluma, California

**Q: Can someone please verify the length is really 22"? I want to make sure it will fit in the case I have. Thanks!**
