Great Fit and Value - 2019 Crosstrek
Bought this because I wasn't ready to drop $500 on Thule or Yakima. For less than $50 these racks are amazing. They are easy to install and the locking mechanism is nice. They are well made and very sturdy. Yes they make a LITTLE noise but it is not a lot, I really only hear it between 45-60 mph. But with the radio on it's not noticeable. I actually even had some Rhino Vortex Strips leftover from a friend, they slide right into the bottom slot and completely took out the wind noise. The 1 con I have is that on top of the rack there is a a sharp little lip with ridges, I'm assuming this is for grip and texture when things lay on the rails. My kayak (Bonafide ss127) is not made for kayak racks and instead made to lay flat across racks. When I slide it on the rack that lip shaves off a tiny bit of the kayak every time. I am going to find a way to cover or shave down the sharpness of the lip to prevent this. But with a kayak that is made to lay flat, it's something that needs to be fixed. Overall: The fact this is 10% of the cost of name band racks, I can more than live with fixing the lip. I am extremely happy with them.

The Best Quality and Accurate Fitting for a HONDA PILOT
I had ordered another brand on Amazon, and returned it within 1 day. Loose fit, missing parts, looks cheap, looks weak, etc, etc, etc. RETURNED IMMEDIATELY. Received this product today. Installed it within 5 mins. My 12 year old installed the 2nd bar by himself. The quality, workmanship and the looks are A+. Great product, Solid Fit, BEST of all the ANTI SLIP Gripping strip on top of the bar. Very, very good. Overall, this product deserves 10 stars for the price I paid. Much better than my OEM Lexus cross bar for handling loads and slippage. So I believe this is much more sturdy and solid compared to the OEM Honda Crossbar plus the 200+ dollar cost for it. My brother saw it, and I ordered another one for him, for his Honda Odessey. Great product, will not be disappointed. as long as you keep checking the tightness of the screws once in every 3 months or just before you haul stuff on your roof. Just like you check your tire pressure before your long trips.

Simple installation, great price, sturdy build. Great buy!
Got these crossbars for my 2011 Jetta Sportwagen. Took my canoe out to the lake the other day. I'll add more later if I have different loads. I know the cons list looks big, but they are all minor things, I am very pleased with this product Pros: They are very easy to install. Only took me about 2 minutes to attach them to my factory installed rails. Keep the key and Allen key in the car if you ever need a quick adjustment. The lock is a great feature. They are solidly made. I roll back my sunroof and do pull-ups on the bars and it is well built, haha Wind noise is minimal. Of course there will be some added whistle, but it is not distracting, and if you have music on you won't notice it at all Minimal impact on gas mileage too. I have noticed no significant change in my gas mileage. They look handsome, I don't think I'll ever take them off. Cons: Aluminum rail means lifting the load to move it is preferred. Sliding my aluminum canoe across it made minor cosmetic damage. I would prefer a softer top surface, maybe rubber or a dense foam. Chopped up pool noodles would be a fairly easy fix Rails are too wide for most ratchet hooks, so you have to loop the strap around and hook it to itself The mechanism for attaching it to the roof rails on either side extends about 6" towards the center of the roof, so adding something like a kayak rack on top won't have as much room for adjustment.

Great bars, fantastic price.
These are great rails, especially for the price. I put these on my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan for a trip. The Caravan's roof rails are right at 47", and to get these on, I had to remove one end cap from each, mount the clamp part on the rail, then slide the bar back onto the clamp & put the end cap back on, but once they were on there, they held great. It took me all of 10 minutes to install, even with needing to slip the ends off and back on. I drove 650 miles each way, with a Thule cargo box attached. Average speed was 80+. Never a single problem, and at times I was going even faster than that. I read other reviews saying their cargo shifted at freeway speeds, but I can't understand how that happens if you have put them on tight enough. I am a 350 pound guy, and I couldn't move them when I tried once they were clamped down. Without the box, I do hear a lot of wind noise at speeds greater than 75MPH, but they are so easy to take off and put back on, I don't feel a need to keep them on all the time. I just put them in the garage.

Fit my 09 Ford Escape well
I recently upgraded from a 2003 Ford escape to a 2009, same make and model. The newer one didn’t come with the rooftop crossbars, and the crossbars from my old escape didn’t work with the new one. I ordered these, hoping they would work, and they did. On a 2009 Ford escape, I can tell you that the crossbars stick out about 8 1/2 inches on each side from the inside of the raised rail. I and they’re pretty easy to adjust and install. From the time they were delivered to the time I had them installed on the car, it was maybe 20 minutes, including opening the box, unpacking everything, reading directions, and actually putting them on. To install and remove them, all you need is the Allen key and lock key (both supplied). I like the fact that they have the lock so you can secure them to your rooftop, and when you unlock it, that also opens a little red door to the Allen screw used for adjustment. Once installed, if I wanted to remove them from the vehicle, it wouldn’t take more than two minutes to do. These crossbars work as advertised, and do exactly what I needed them to do.

Simple and good price point
These fit perfectly on my GMC Terrain. I am not very technical but I was able to figure out how to put them on and install them in less than 30 minutes - and now that I've got the hang of it, I think it'll take less than 10 minutes next time, if I ever have to remove them. You have to unlock the clamp in order to use the hex bar to enlarge/tighten the clamp. But I couldn't pull the key out of the lock while it was unlocked, so I had to use the two keys, one in each clamp, while I placed the bar and tightened the clamp - then I could lock the bars and use the keys to place the second bar. I couldn't tell right away if I was tightening or loosening the clamp, so just keep an eye on the screw and then you'll be able to tell easily which direction it's going. They seem very sturdy. I can't speak to mileage as I just put them on. I am still waiting for the bar covers and straps to throw my surfboard up there, but I look forward to being able to put the board on top of the car so I can fit passengers and keep my car interior cleaner.

Secure bars, great price!
UPDATE: Racks were very secure on my 6 hour drive to the start of RAGBRAI across Iowa. I paired it with 3 road bike racks (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P6EQ22K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Not even the slightest peep from this set up while traveling 70-80 mph, including backroad curvy roads. I love everything about these racks and I'm so glad I didn't shell out a couple hundred for the factory cross bars. Incredibly price, very secure. I installed in about 25 minutes (being a perfectionist and pulling out the tape measure to make sure it was even and centered. It locks down using an allen wrench (supplied) and should expand to fit almost any SUV. I installed on a 2012 Hyundai Veracruz which is a slightly larger than average 3 row SUV. It's being used to haul 3 road bikes across the state of Iowa (I'll update when I have more road time). The finish of the bars is a handsome aluminum looking material and the locking mechanism is flat black. Overfall, a nice looking set of cross bars that was about $100 cheaper than the nearest (used on ebay) factory option. New factory option would have been $300, and a Thule would be slightly less. Only issue is that it was dinged in 3 places when it arrived (box was fine). I'm going to use this thing weekly, so I'm sure its only a matter of time before it's dinged all over so I'm not worried.

Whisteling Dixie!!!!!!!
I will preface this review by noting I paid $43.00 for this rack, so I underatand the "you get what you paid for" mentality. First off, when I received the box, I was pleased. Product came quick, seems well built, looks great and was installed on the roof rails in 10 minutes! So, with the racks installed I went for a drive to the grocery store. 30mph good, 40 mph good, 50mph... holy cow, it whistles. Wow. Ok, I knew this would happen. No biggie.. I researched the rack, read the reviews... So, like it has been suggested I aluminum taped the channel on the underside of the rack. Problem solved! Lets get back on the road. What the? Still whistles. Hmm.. Back home to figure this out. Some more tape, some rubber pipe insulation. Good deal. I took them off, I reinstalled them, I stuffed every crack and crevice and taped every opening. Lets try this again. Back in the car to drive... And my god.... Still whisteling. Have you ever seen the movie Vegas Vacation where the dam springs a leak and Chevy Chase tries to plug the one hole... only to have 20 more pop up?? This rack, is that dam. The rack is adjustable which means there are moving parts, there are voids, there is room for things to move and adjust and slide andddd plenty of space to perfectly trap air and create ungodly amounts of multi-pitched whistles. I have spent literally every day since I bought this rack driving around with the sole purpose of sticking my hands out of the window and sunroof to try and see where the hell this thing could be whisteling now. I just don't get it. I have plugged every single crevice, taped over all the small openings, used rubber bands, wrapped velcro strapping around the connections... STILL WHISTLES. While I am happy for the people who were able to fix their whisteling issues with a single strip of tape, I'm hesitant to fully believe them. I am on week 3 with no end of whisteling in sight. If you want an affordable, sturdy rack.. And noise is of no consequence to you.. This is your best bet. However, if you frequently drive over 50mph and don't want to hear the "nails on a chalkboard" sound of screaming, screaching whistles. You may want to consider another option. I'm not sure I would be able to return mine now, but if I could, I would. Unfortunately, I will have to use this howling screamer of a rack for the remainder of the summer until I replace it next year. I guess thats what $43 gets ya!

Perfect for the price
There's tons of good review on amazon US site, so I give it a go. Easy to install. Bought this with the intention to load plywood and planks for my carpentry work, so hopefully it will hold it down. Yet to try putting load on it and will update how it goes.

Nice roof rack Locks are sticky
The roof rack fits our 2019 Forester. Bought it to carry our canoe. This rack should fit any vehicle with similar roof rails. Attachment works well, nice rubber grips and lots of adjustment in the clamps that go onto the roof rails. Racks are easy to get on and off. Seems to provide a solid grip on roof rails. Only gave some features 4 stars due to very sticky and difficult to use locks that retract the guards over the adjusting mechanism. Had to use silicone spray. Hope they will loosen up after a few uses. Edit: after a few uses the sticky locks do free up. I have answered numerous questions about “will these racks fit my xxxx vehicle”. These are universal racks designed to fit vehicles with raise roof rails that are up to 46 inches apart. What is missing from the description is that there should be a gap of about 1.25 inches between the roof and the underside of the roof rail so you can attach the clamps to the rails. These racks are very well built and sturdy enough to carry the designed weight. The description says not to exceed 60 mph (100 km/h) but I suspect that is a liability statement.

Buen producto
