Review: 10/10 E.S.S.A type plush! - Pretty soft, pretty large, and definitely adorable and cuddle material. Perfect for an E.S.S.A! I love her! She’s a teensy bit weighted but not extremely heavy and the material of her fur is more than perfect quality, though it isn’t completely soft, like some or maybe most cats. I went swimming with her and she was ok! Just some blow drying and patience will work, so I’d say she’s quite durable. The nose material is kind of velvety, not soft and squishy but fuzzy.

A: Yes, it is rough. Ours was and it said it was made of all synthetic material, which if that is true, there’s no reason for it to be rough and scratchy. But yes, it is rough and scratchy.

A: The cat remains posed.  It is not a pillow type stuffed animal.  The appearance and softness of the animal and "fur" would encourage a child, or adult, to cuddle and hold the cat.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adorable, but be aware of potential size discrepancy

I purchased the Douglas Kiki Ragdoll Cat stuffed animal because I had purchased the Douglas Puzzle Calico Cat stuffed, a few years prior, and loved Puzzle's fairly realistic features -- especially the 'life-like' size of an adult cat being one of these features. Fast forward a few years later, and I thought I'd order another Douglas kitty stuffed animal, and I chose Kiki. I checked the Amazon listing for the size of Puzzle against Kiki's listed size on Amazon, and both were noted as 19". I just received Kiki, today, however, and this stuffed animal is considerably smaller than Puzzle. So, I got out the measuring tape to compare. Measuring the further point of the front paw to the furthest point of the back paw (measured as stuffed animals are poised laying flat on their bellies), Puzzle measures a little under 19" -- not including the tail -- and with the tail (to the furthest end of the tail), Puzzle's measurement is a little under 24". Kiki's measurement from the furthest point of the front paw to the furthest point of the back paw is a little under 15" -- and with the tail (to the furthest end of the tail), Kiki's measurement is a little under 19". The above all said, I checked back to both ads for Kiki and Puzzle on Amazon (I purchased both on Amazon) and both ads read "Measures 19" (48 cm) long." So I suppose the ads are correct in that both stuffed animals do measure 19", in some capacity, but the 19" measurement is different as Kiki has a TOTAL length of 19" (further point of the front paw all the way back to the end of the tail), whereas Puzzle measures 19" in length from the furthest point of the front paw to furthest point of back paw, NOT including the tail. I thought I should point this out as I was purchasing Kiki assuming the 19" size would be equivalent to what Puzzle's size was, but Kiki is much smaller than Puzzle. Puzzle is closer to the size of an adult cat (which is what I was going for), whereas Kiki is more like the size of juvenile kitten. I hope that my experience will help others to understand what you're buying with the 19" size notation on the ad. Please see picture I've attached for reference. Thanks!
