I took them out of the shelves today for the first time and the backside of the material was just falling apart, the shelves did have an open back and were under a window so they could have had a small amount of sun from some angles, but this is an extreme amount of wear and tear on an item that was almost only decorative for 4 years now. I guess the only saving grace is that they were very affordable and that they don't suit the colors of my new home now anyway. Also, I find they are useful, when labeled, to hide things that sprawl. I use them at home and work.So, I got two different colors of the Sorbus cubes from this seller at great prices, and used them to do a bit of tidy-up in the closet. Delivery was two days in a holiday week full of messed-up delivery times.Now, no one can see that I can't be bothered to fold fitted sheets to look all square and flat unless they peek.Despite what the "also bought" suggestions say, you don't need a special piece of furniture to hold them. They stand up perfectly well on any shelf. They aren't super sturdy if using without a storage unit, I wouldn't put heavy stuff in one and expect to carry them around with a lot of weight in it like you would with a storage box. They are great for storing crafts and other items, and look nice and neat and organized. After comparing these to ones I've purchased at walmart, they are better quality, somewhat heavier and sturdier.
