Review: Great first impression so far - Initial first impression is great! This is my first time using any sort of art markers and as someone who isn't fantastic at art, these markers are a great way to not break my bank and work on improving my art skills. The color selection is just a teensy bit selective (PM-1 is way more of a pink then the red my camera makes it look and in my opinion a red would be nice) but I cant really complain for what it is and I love that you get a few good skin tones to choose from (and even more if you blend!). The colors did bleed through 2 of my additional art book pages but that can easily be fixed by putting printer paper or whatever underneath. Blending works nice roo. I took a few colors that matched well together plus a couple total random colors to blend together and well you can see the results in the image. So to sum it all up, I've only used the markers a couple of times so far but am quite pleased with the results. Given the price + variety I would definitely recommend this pack. :)

**Q: What kind of paper would you use these markers with?**
A: Strathmore maker paper is the best, and it's relatively inexpensive. You should do the original art on another piece of paper, rather than straight on the marker , asit is thin enough to see through.

**Q: Are these markers fade resistant?**
A: Yes, but only out of direct sunlight. NO alcohol marker is fade resistant in direct sunlight. They are dye-based and non-archival.

**Q: how well do the markers blend?**
A: I was skeptical at first when purchasing these markers but was amazed on how well they blend and vibrant the colors are.

**Q: I am very interested in these markers. Do they have a brush tip by any chance?**
A: These are 12 double-ended markers which are chisel and fine point. We do have Scholar™ Brush Markers if you are interested in brush tips.

These markers have vibrant color and each stroke blends with the stroke before! In other words there are no streaks! They are worth the extra money!! As far as bleeding through, it's not a marker issue. They all bleed through, so always place something behind the paper that you're working on to protect the surface or the next page. 🙂
