First off, it isn’t cardboard which means it lasts longer than a week. In fact, it’s a kind of carpet material which lasts a couple of years and that is having four cats using it daily. I don’t lean it and it works out better flat. When one side gets cruddy and finally starts to break down I just flip it over. This extends the use to another year or so. It is also the best priced for the amount of use. My cats love it. All of them. Lol. I have bought both the longer and the 20 inch one. I rather the shorter ,wider one to the longer, narrower one. I have bought about four of these over the years. When I had the cardboard ones, I was having to buy them over and over over weeks. I will NEVER buy another corrugated one again. Waste of money. If you have cats, this is the one for you to buy. But for some reason it is hard to find on Amazon. And my cats could not care less about the colors, so I have learned to ignore the random colors that may or may not blend in with my decor.
