This eliminates the small but constant battery drain that occurs with less expensive voltage reducers. It takes some more installation time to locate the switched B+ battery line to connect to the control wire. Check the coil terminals at the main solenoid (contactor) or the common terminal at the forward-reverse switch for a voltage change when the key switch is activated. The only thing that could be improved is the plastic mounting flange on the bottom of the Pro Chaser. This was simple to wire and can be controlled by the ignition, so it fit the bill. A few minutes of wiring and mounting and it was in.
