I ordered it twice, and both times, they sent me half of the box. I don't remember if it was the top or bottom, but they sent me the same half two times. I finally found it at Camping World for $10 cheaper. The same brand of battery box. **Q: So this box is designed to be installed below the deck in a cut-out section and then vented outside the coach, correct?** A: It can be installed in a cutout, or anywhere inside a cabinet. The round hole in the top is designed for a hose to carry fumes to to the outside. I installed mine under the seating in my truck camper. The hose carries the fumes to a vent I installed in the side of the camper. **Q: If the top and bottom are Identical how is this supposed to stand level?why isnt the bottom vent actually on the sidenear the bottom?It seems to me w** A: The bottom port acts as a drain to prevent accumulation of liquids such as condensation. It does require drilling a hole for the port through the floor.
