Review: Great flashlight - This small well-constructed metal Energizer flashlight runs on 6 AAA alkaline batteries (included). It comes with a strap and has a good weight to it. The flashlight offers two brightness levels - 600 lumens and 200 lumens. You click once for 600 lumens, click again for 200 lumens and then again to off. If you press and hold the button for 2 seconds it gives a blinking strobe pattern. The 600 lumens is very bright and has a wide flood light pattern versus a long throw spot beam. This will light up a room. The 200 lumens is also bright and useful. The beam has a yellow cast to it which I prefer over the dull bluish looking light some of the other cheaper flashlights emit. I like the small size of this flashlight and its excellent brightness and that it takes regular alkaline batteries. I like the tail switch button that turns it on/off as it is very smooth to press and operate and feels premium. Battery life seems good and the flashlight does not seem to get hot or warm even with extended operation. It would be awesome if you could stand the light on its tail end to use it as a lamp but the tail switch protrudes slightly not allowing for it. Nothing is perfect I guess. Great flashlight!
