The best way to judge the right ramp length is to get a metal tape measure and lay it from the step to the flat surface ie floor or path and then see how steep and long the various lengths are -you want a gentle gradient rather than a steep slope and you need enough length to get your wheelchair onto the ramp smoothly, You will soon see which length looks the bette fit.. I find these ramps easy to put in place and store. And the width is more than adequate for my wheelchair without me feeling like I would catch the door frame. **Q: What size ramp would i need to get my 3 wheel mobility scooter into the back of a combo van?** A: All the ramps are the same width. I think you would need the longest ramp (5ft).
