Gain an understanding of the latest advances in spectroscopy with INTRODUCTION TO SPECTROSCOPY.This proven book provides a systematic introduction to spectra and basic theoretical concepts in spectroscopic methods and includes up-to-date spectra; a modern presentation of one-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy; an introduction to biological molecules in mass spectrometry; and coverage of modern techniques alongside DEPT, COSY, and HECTOR. Review: Good book - This is a very useful book for any introductory spectroscopy class. The class though? Extremely hard for me ๐ญ Review: Great Book for Spectroscopy - Probably one of the few textbooks that I can say is truly worth the investment. The explanations for the different types of spectroscopy are clear and examples given are very helpful in the determination of MS, IR, NMR, and UV spectra. A definite keeper. I kind of wish a hard copy of the book existed for increased durability. That reminds me, I need to get this back from a friend who also wished the book was cheaper so he would have his own copy. Instead he had to borrow mine

Definitely worth the buy for a spectroscopy course
This book is great if you are taking a spectroscopy class or for reference in organic chemistry. Wonderful tables and very well written

Great book! Exactly what I was looking for!

Omits Raman spectroscopy
Nice book, very thorough, but omits mention of Raman spectroscopy. Raman complements IR, and has the convenience of operating with visible light.

So much better book than Lambert

I do not recommend this book, at least for NMR part
I just read NMR part of this book that is from Chapter 5 to Chapter 9. The book did not draw a clear picture on many important concept such as Boltzmann equilibrium and NOE etc. Anyway, I really do not think this is a good book for understanding NMR.

Arrived in poor condition
It is ledgable but the cover is off and the binding arrived in several pieces. Worried I will be charged for damage when I return rental that arrived at my house in poor condition.

Great condition considering it was used
It came fast and in great condition!! The book was listed as used, so I was hoping it wasnโt too bad. It came in great condition!!! The price was way less than being sold at university book store.

It's a good reference book
It's a good reference book, you can read through it like a novel if you're a nutter. Good for people doing a spectroscopy module in university, or if you are just interested in Spectroscopy?(you nutter)
