It's not a replacement for scrubbing pads for tough burnt on oil and such on stainless steel pans but it gets a lot of other things just fine. The one place it won't work well is baby bottles. It's too stiff and the head too big to fit. But baby bottles is not why we bought this so I'm happy with this purchase. The brush has proven to be durable, too. We have been using the first brush for months now and it still hasn't lost its shape at all unlike many other brushes we have used over the years that end up flat at the tip from hard scrubbing. This one has kept its shape really well. I expect to get probably over a year of use out of the set of 3 for a very good price.
