One Uber Amazing Money Clip
I had to wait to get this, but it was well worth it. I was so tired of bulky wallets. I go out a lot and don't want huge bulge in my pockets. This is very sleek. And one tip about money clips, what ruins them is the clip is cheap metal and no longer clams tight. This puppy is like a Vise Grip. I keep 4 credit cards and a few bills no problem. All Sleek and cool. Everyone is very impressed with this Money Clip. It is so light you barely feel it in your pocket. And when I take it out to pay the bill, I get those cool look. Your Wallet says so much about your Style! Rugged Tough and it has a knife! One bad, hard to get back in once you take it out, but then again it slides out ultra quick if you happen upon any Terrorist that needs dispatching. Take your time cleaning it off and putting it back! I highly recommend this very well done Money Clip. Gerber did us a Solid!

Really solid product. Poor Choice for quick draw knife fights.
This is a substantial money clip, good heft for its size. All of the other reviews are correct- with more than a few bills and 4 or so cards, the knife is difficult to remove with out sliding the credit cards down an inch or so. I really don't mind in the slightest, as I didn't purchase this for frequent quick draw knife fights, in any event, this is a poor knife fighting knife, though easily sharpened and quite nice for small utility needs (such as opening other packaging from Gerber- seriously guys, I shouldn't need the knife in the package to open the package that the knife is in) I DID purchase this because I liked the look of the clip and wanted one that would last. In that respect, I think this one is a winner- it appears to be very durable, and I expect to use it for many years to come (just not when i'm flying).

Great as a pocket knife, very minimal as a money clip
I bought this because I like "gadget" or "novelty" type of knives. I never planned on using it as a money clip, that's why I gave it 5 stars. I wanted it more for the discreet way to carry a pocket knife. Although the entire thing is larger than my current pocket knife, it's relatively flat and I can barely notice it in my pocket. I'm a dad, so I have need for a pocket knife at least a couple times a week. It seems sturdy. Not particularly sharp, but that's fixed in about 30 seconds. Overall I love the design. Learning to hold the blade takes a little playing with, but do-able. As a money clip I would say that an ID, 1 or 2 credit cards and 4-5 bills. This comes no where near being big enough for me. If you are a true minimalist you can absolutely use this as a money clip. If you're part of the other 99% of society, you might just want to buy this as a cool, discrete pocket knife. I'm thinking of buying another for my wife to keep in her purse.

Great money clip. Sub par knife.
When I carry cash I prefer to carry it in my front pocket, in a money clip. It never hurts to have an extra blade on you. Two is One, One is None and whatnot. I bought this primarily as a money clip. This is the second Gerber product I've purchased in as many years, after 7 years of staying away from the brand due to quality and safety issues I experienced with a few of their products. Their quality is above average to good. The construction of this item is solid. Very good fit and finish. Money Clip is good & tight. I can carry 20+ bills folded in half (I carry cards in a different manner). The G10 gives it a nice feel. The blade retention clip is pretty good. It does drag across the blade and will eventually wear the finish. Cosmetic, not a fuctionality issue. My biggest con with this thing is how little real estate you actually get on the grip. There are a few ways to grip this thing, but none of them are suitable for dynamic knife useage (such as self defense). To me, the blade is a last ditch useage item at best, and at worst a gimmick. Check out my pics to get an idea of how little purchase you actually get. If you have fat fingers, good luck. I have average fingers. Now, if you're a gear junkie, this has a cool factor. If you're looking for a handy pocket knife, buy an actual pocket knife. It's like Gerber said "we make knives, but we wanna make a money clip, so let's put a blade in it!!!" Granted, this one of a series of "lifestyle" pieces Gerber has introduced, and some are more functional and useful. Unfortunately, this one just isn't. Parting suggestion: Gerber, if you ever do a Version 2 of this, I have 4 or 5 designs I'd gladly sell you to make this as functional as it is cool.

Hidden knife / money clip!
Great quality and perfect size if you don’t want to carry a pocket knife looks like a money clip.

Decent quality but overpricean
Overpriced for what you get. Design is okay but there are some major flaws and “engineering” misses with the overall idea. Quality is decent. If you use it for any cards that have plastic on them or a chip it will absolutely ruin them within a month. The idea is good but the execution isn’t great. I no longer carry it due to it ruining cards and being a bit unnecessary/redundant.

Lifetime warranty's are my favorite kind. I plan to live a long long time.
I was debating between 4 and 5 and decided to go with a 5 star review because I got exactly what was described to me. Word for word. it's solid, feels fairly durable and really does stand out as a money clip. There is no ONE way to hold the knife and believe that's why so many people get confused on how to hold it properly. It depends on your task, and Gerber incorporated several different textured edges as well as a thumb hole to accommodate different ways to hold it for different tasks. It was fairly sharp when I received it but I swiped it through a ceramic sharpener a couple times anyway and now it's razor sharp. Yes the tab that holds the blade inside of the clip scratches the back of the blade... I don't really care that much as it provides a functional locking mechanism that holds the blade in very securely. I would recommend this item to anybody I don't hang out with, as i want to be the only one I hang out with that has this clip. Sorry but when it's time to pay the bar tab and everybody has the same clip... little creepy. You don't match with your buddies. You just don't. Not cool. Get your own money clip.
