Can be bubble free even if you don't have access to a class 10 clean room.
If you do the installation correctly, you can have a bubble-free screen protector. I watched a couple really good youtube videos showing how to get a perfect application. Here's how to get your screen protector on, bubble-free and dust-free even if you can't sneak your ipad into a semiconductor fab to put the screen protector on.1. I started out by cleaning the screen with a microfiber cloth so that there was absolutely no visible contamination on the screen.2. I then aligned the screen protector on the ipad before peeling anything. I taped one edge like a hinge so that I could peel off layer 1 and lay it on the ipad, perfectly aligned.3. I used the plastic card to squeegee out any bubbles. If you get a dust particle, the bubble won't go away. Then you follow step 4.4. Use some tape on a corner to lift part of the screen protector, and get the dust particle out with some tape. Usually, the dust particle sticks to the screen protector when you lift it, so have the tape sticky side toward the screen protector and press the screen protector against the tape. Scotch tape works great if you need a piece longer than what's supplied, or if you need more than what's supplied. Try not to raise the screen protector too high so that more dust doesn't get in. Squeegee out the bubbles after you remove each dust particle.5. Very slowly, remove layer two, and make sure the screen protector doesn't come off with it. The edges may lift slightly while you peel off layer 2. This is why you peel it slowly. Any bubbles that form while peeling off layer 2 can be squeegeed out.

Requires considerable skill and patience
There should be a big note visible when you open the package advising you to watch the installation video before attempting to install this product yourself. That video is FAR more instructive than the poorly written instructions. I wasted one screen protector just figuring out how to install the product before I found an email with link to the installation video. The first problem I encountered was semantics. There are two "mask" films. What is a mask film? Isn't that what I want to apply to my iPad? It turns out to be a protective film for the screen protector itself. That was not obvious to me; I tried to install the first protective mask on my iPad, and when that didn't work I finally resorted to more carefully reading the instructions. The instructions say, in part, "So, please use the stickers to remove the mask films (NOT the stickers themselves)." I still don't understand the parenthetical message. Looking beyond the incomplete sentence structure, it would be better to say, "Your iPad screen protector is itself protected with two mask films, each with a convenient sticker which serves as a handle. After you review the installation video located at [URL], begin the installation process by removing the first protective mask. Remove the second protective mask only at the end of this process."One key point in the video is both cleaning the iPad screen and then using a commercial dry air aerosol to COMPLETELY remove all dust particles. This point is critically important, yet it's not mentioned in the instructions. Although I completely cleaned the glass surface with the microfiber cleaning cloth (included) and cleaning solution, my first installation attempt was riddled with bubbles, each one showcasing a small dust particle. For those of us in the Silicon Valley, you might want to consider installing the screen protector in a Class 1 clean room. The screen protector and the two protective masks have been pre-punched with round holes for the camera and iPad button. However, the hole material had not been removed from any layer. I found that after removing the first protective mask, a hole remnant "jumped" onto the protective screen, necessitating careful removal from the sticky surface that required nearly the dexterity of a neurosurgeon.Protective screen alignment is another challenge. Getting the holes aligned over their respective locations required many attempts. Finally, I discovered that the capacitive stylus I use for further protection of the touch screen was a lot less sensitive after the protective screen was applied. In summary, the installation process is suitable for neurosurgeons operating in a Class 1 clean room. All others may install at their own risk.

Great purchase
I've only had it on for a few days, and love it. But this review concerns the application of the film and general customer service. They care about pre sale and after sale service so much that they sent a VERY helpful email before my (2) films arrived, and a follow up email. These weren't your average sales spam. Both letters are very human and as I said, HELPFUL. In many dozens of screen applications I've never had it so easy. Hinged tape, a short informative application how to video, hefty cleaning cloth, card. I get multiple films because I am so bad at putting them on effectively I invariable move to the second one to try again. Not this time. Best application ever and put the second on my son's mini. It was quick, painless and the results are flawless. Okay, my son has one dust mote. But I didn't take the tip on doing it in the bathroom after a hot shower (takes the dust out of the air) but I will next time! The film itself is perfect. I can't see it, can't feel it. It's just not there. I even put it on so easily I could forget! And then what? I can't see it, don't remember applying it, oh, two friendly support emails remind me I just purchased from an excellent company :)Yes, it came quickly, but that is a relative term. I wasn't desperate so I didn't pay attention. I was busy watching the fancy schmancy video on a hinged application!

went on perfectly, but avoid my mistake
First of all, I did watch the video (the URL is in the instructions). I also used the little card to press out bubbles as I lowered it onto the iPad after removing protective cover #1 and only ended up with one bubble in the middle, plus a bit on the taped side, both of which came out easily. I was afraid because of the static-y covers, more dust would be attracted, but that wasn't the case, and after years of living with several little dust bubbles on my previous cover, I'm very pleased. However, my mistake was that I forgot there were 2 covers in the package, and since they both came out together. After taping the side, I ended up removing the protective cover #1, only to find that it was for the spare screen protector, which promptly fell off, not being taped. This didn't hinder the application of the first cover, but due to static attraction I couldn't get the #1 protective cover exactly back in place on the spare screen protector for later use. I did put it right back in its holder, so hopefully, when I need it in the future, it will still apply nicely.
