I bought these because lifting heavy or even moderate free weight punishes your wrist by forcing them into odd angles and applying pressure. These (18") wraps stop or limit those odd angles keeping your wrist straight. They are stiff with some flex allowing me to pull the wraps tighter if I want to get more support. The velcro is top notch and held firm. I loosen them between sets to allow proper blood flow. The quality is outstanding at any price. No fraying or loose strings. There is also one for your left wrist and one for the right. I really could not be happier with their performance or the quality. Also the material breathed well and I had no sweaty wrist problems, there was also no friction or red marks on my wrist even after wrapping them tight for heavier work. Just really well done all around. I am a 20 year lifter with 7 inch wrist and they fit perfect, my wife has 4.5 inch wrist and they also fit her perfect.

Bear Grips are perfect in terms of quality. However, you should provide more color choice for the same type.

I was having issues with my wrists lifting heavy weights Whilst I still do have wrist ligament issues this product has saved me - the pain is much lower with these and mean that I can carry out the lifting that I want to do.. I don't do a gym session without them - I've now ordered another pair as a spare/washing spare Very easy to put on once you can figure out which way round to put your thumb through the holding strap..

Iam very picky with my gym equipment that keeps me safe, my back ground is comp power lifting and body building and in my older age calisthenics, ive tried them all, inzer, haney, titan, ALL OF THEM. You can tell within 30 seconds whether somethings been designed with the users performance in mind, gonna last and if its made from quality. I like these, the brand name is new to me. But figured id try and im not disappointed. Typically i try a name im not familiar with and if it turns out to be a good one then quite often where i bought it from no longer sells it or i cant get it easily cause now everyone is grabbing them. I like how long they are, i like how they stretch, the thickness is just right, the loops are made for a left hand and a right which most wrist wraps arent as you can see from my old yellow wraps where both wraps are identical and have never wrapped correctly, THANK YOU for making a left and a right!!!! I like these so much i immediately bought a second pair moments ago. THANK YOU!! 1-11-22 update: STILL WORK GREAT!

Good set of wraps I’m on my 3rd set cause I keep loosing them but they’re well made and give good support. I gave these a 4 start this time because I pulled them fresh out the package and they smelled really bad but threw them in the wash and all good

My wrists were hurting and limiting me especially in curls and pull-downs. Put the Bear Grips on and instant relief and increase in weight I could handle without pain. My wrists are quite skinny but no problem getting the straps on or off. I can also do a quick pressure release when they are not needed. Finally, my Garmin watch fits nicely just above the strap so I can time my sets. Great product.

Been lifting for 11 years and have had 3 different pair of these. Not because they went bad or got wore out, but because I wanted different colors. My first pair were still going strong after 5 years had zero issues after using them 2 times a week gave them to a friend and he still uses them. They have good colors, quality, they’re pretty reasonably priced compared to others. I’ll never use another brand

When it comes to gym equipment, it’s pretty safe to say there’s many retailers to choose from for one specific thing, such as wrist wraps. I chose Bear Grips extra strength wrist wraps after reading multiple reviews stating the quality of the stitching and the excellent customer service. Aesthetically, the wrist wraps have a classic look to them without being too “in your face”. I went with the blacked out version but white and black looks just as nice. A day after placing my order through the Bear Grips Amazon store, I was greeted with an email from a representative at the company, introducing herself and letting me know to reach out at anytime if I needed help with the wraps or had any questions in general. I placed my order on the 5th of April and received them on the 8th of April. Wow, that was fast and earlier than expected. Packaging was clean and compact, nothing more than what it needs to be. I took them out to try on for the first time and wow. They wrap and cast my wrist in no time and feel amazing. The Velcro feels super strong and the stitching makes it so that I’m confident in ripping the wrap off without any worries of fuzzy side coming off. My reasoning for buying these wraps was based on reviews, brand videos, and price point.
