Lock & Lock HPL894 Multi-Use Food Container 10 L with 2 Handles

This things huge and definitely airtight. Good sturdy build but wouldn’t recommend putting to much faith in the tiny handles but they fold away well.

I purchased two of the lock and lock 10L food containers for my son.He wanted handled food containers for b.b.q.sHe has used them on numerous occasions and loves them.They are ideal for preparing raw food and storing in the fridge.Easy to carry outside.Keeps dust and insects away whilst waiting to cook the food.Can be used to serve food at the table and keep covered.Excellect buy.

I have two each filled with 16 x 500g bags of strong bread flour.That way I can buy 16kg Manitoba strong bread flour. Best in the world.Highest protein content.

Airtight plastic box - well made what else is there to say?

I love Lock and Lock products. They give me confidence that my food is going to be kept air tight and dry. I store extra baking supplies in my garage and this ensures that they are kept clean and dry. Most recent I filled this one with flour from a giant bag I got at Costco. It didn't fit the whole bag but it held a good amount.

I’ve had two of these boxes for around 8 months. I bought them to use for dog food.They are so expensive for what is just basically a plastic box but I bought them as wanted to keep the food Fresh.The box itself is sturdy but the lid is terrible. Airtight when closed but it’s a pain in the arse to close. Really stiff and the sides have snapped when trying to close. If you want to store something you only use now and again then I’m sure they will be fine but if you’ll need to open it everyday then forget it.

Three years later and one of the largest side flaps does no longer close. It is broken. Two stars removed.Since purchase, November 2016, no ants are in my locked food anymore. I use it for bread, cereals, biscuits, pasta... No food is left outside of them, I bought two of this model as other sizes too. Now, ants come around but do not enter. I still check the food and the container before just in case but no problems so far, fingers crossed.

This works great, it is the perfect size for my needs and the lid locks on securely. I don’t use the handles much but they are a nice addition for transporting cakes etc.
