MHP Power Pak High Protein Pudding, Vanilla, 8.8 Ounce, (Pack of 6)

Literally eating my first one right now and I HAD TO WRITE MY REVIEW! It's honestly delicious! I was expecting it to be chalky or super dry/hard to eat, but I was WRONG! Curbs my sweet tooth and the texture is awesome. It's a thicker pudding which I like. Not watery at all. Also, it's not a small portion! It feels like I'm getting a large helping of pudding! A definite must buy if you're on a high protein/low sugar/low carb diet. I will for sure but this product again.

Tastes just like chocolate pudding however it packs a lot of protein. I take a few of these in my luggage when I travel for work. I mention luggage because they won't pass through TSA as they are larger than 3 ounces. If you are on the go and need a healthy snack I recommend these. As with any high protein snack, drink plenty of water throughout the day. I like to put them in the mini fridge at the hotel, they taste even better ice cold.

Ok that being said, because I LOVED Stallones pudding but it has been discontinued. This pudding is OK. Will I buy it again, possibly I am going to try the Vanilla. I am also going to try adding some PB2 to this pudding just to jump start the flavor. I love how thick it is, and how much it fills me up. What I don't like is there is a underlying graininess to this ( not even sure that is a word!) It's slight but definitely there. It is suiting my purpose as I just had weight loss surgery and was looking for something with a different texture for the 2 weeks of liquid diet portion. I love the protein content, and I there is no way you would be able to finish a whole can without being WAY over full, even for someone not post-op. The chocolate flavor isn't there, it really does not taste like anything. I am wondering if adding some sugar free chocolate something to it might help. It wont help the product from being grainy but it will serve its purpose for now. I am going to order the vanilla to see if the "chocolate" that they add to is what is causing the grainy problem and then I will comment on that. I have to say though for the Stallone pudding I use to add macadamia nuts to it , as a snack and it was awesome. Maybe if you do that with this you wont notice the texture as it is so slight. Anyway I do know my protein puddings, there really are not many of them out there so that being said so far this maybe your best bet. I will review the vanilla after I try that.

It's not exactly as delicious as everyone says, but it's good enough. Has a similar taste as most protein bars & powders and it does have a bit of an aftertaste. I like that it's convenient and ready to be eaten. I do agree, it's very filling and there is a good chance you won't be able to finish a whole can. At $3 a can, it's quite expensive. At $2 a can I would be more enticed to buy this regularly.

This might just be one of the most difficutly things to eat. It def helps with appetite suppression because after eating it you dont wanna have another meal of anything

Let's be clear, this is not your every day snack. It does not compare to classic puddings taste wise. It has this "proteiny" aftertaste, but it otherwise quite good. Most importantly, it's only 190 calories for a half pound serving size and fills you up like nothing else. For those going through a diet phase, this it an incredible product.

I bought these immediately when I saw a good price drop... I like these a lot, as they are very filling and help with my protein intake--and sweet tooth! However, half of the cans were dented and unuseable. Not just a small dent, but dents large enough to pop the pop top lid. I'm guessing that's why they were discounted, so buyer beware.

Received and tried it today(03/17/17). All I can say is...PHENOMINAL. Tastes amazing, just like real pudding. It was the chocolate flavor, and it was nice and thick in texture. I was expecting a dull, protein taste. Not the case at all. I'll be buying a ton of this stuff. I haven't tried vanilla yet. I will be receiving that flavor in the mail in 3 days. BUY IT. Trust me. You won't be disappointed.

These are absolutely delicious and portable. Highly recommended!
