My Arlo 3 H9 camera is always charged 100%
Works as advertised and as easy to install as the Arlo cameras. Only issue is that because my cameras hang down under the eaves of the roof, it’s not easy to find a spot that gets lots of sun, even with the generous 8 feet of cord. Still, I found a decent spot for one of my cameras that only gets about 30% of the daily sunlight and tested it. It’s been three months and the device has refilled the battery and remains 100% full of charge.

Does what it’s supposed to do, 1 complaint
I just installed yesterday for my Arlo flood light. Overnight the camera dropped 4 percent. As soon as the sun hit the solar panel, it was back at 100 percent. Hasn’t moved. Only one complaint, the wire for the panel is only 8’ long and I don’t want to mount it right by the light because they aren’t the prettiest things you ever seen. What would be nice is if Arlo gave you 25-30 feet worth of wire and you could cut down to length. I’m no electrical engineer but this is common sense. A little expensive for what you get but to save time off of a ladder changing batteries or taking camera down to charge, it’s worth it.

Better than expected
I’ve never written a review and I wasn’t sure what to expect from this solar panel for my outside Arlo camera. Many of the reviews, dogged the capability of the solar panel thinking that their camera should never require recharging again...... Well this is what I have found. The length between charges is extended dramatically. Say from every 2 months to every 6 months. To me that is very good and hence the 5 stars. Bottom line, you still need to recharge the camera battery but the time between charges is 3x - 4x greater than before ————————————— Update: it’s now Mar 2021 and the solar panel charges the Arlo camera to 100%, so no plug in charging ever. The solar panel is better than expected

Works better than previous version for the Arlo Pro
This version is completely sealed. The charger has the magnetic inductive charge tip that does not require entry into the housing. It just sticks to the bottom of the Ultra series ARLO. The solar cell seems to keep my camera fully charged and remains weather resistant. I give it 4 stars only because the price is ridiculous. Sorry, butt you can buy a solar battery charger and just plug it into the ARLO USB for less money. It would not be as weather proof or slim though, so you are forced to pay the price. If it lasts i guess it will be worth it. If it breaks, or gets water in it I will update this post.

Solar charging system is awesome!!!!
The camera (arlo ultra) is good but doesn’t always report motion, night vision is better but not the advertised color amazingness, the 4K is really just 1080 because to use it costs more (subscription) and most of the time it times out because the connection isn’t strong enough to broadcast, or just a lag on there servers, I have defaulted to only using 1080... as for the solar charging system that is awesome!!!! No recharging batteries every few weeks or hassle to hardwire a power cable especially since they still haven’t released the hardwire cables for these cameras almost 7 months after I got the cameras... 🤦🏻♂️

They'll take your money monthly, but don't expect to see an actual bill.
First, Arlo is the worst tech company I've dealt with. Almost non-existent customer service. Just try getting a hold of a real person there, or even finding a phone number or email contact on their website. My biggest gripe with them is the billing... or lack thereof. They DO NOT send bills to customers. They refuse to set up automatic emails of bills monthly. You can't log onto your account and see bills, nor will they automatically email you any bills whatsoever. Every other company that bills me automatically also sends me a bill via email automatically. Why is Arlo not able to??? In order to get a bill you have to log onto your account, then open a chat or open a service ticket and request a bill. It takes forever to get to a real live person on chat who can send you a bill. I've tried repeatedly to ask for a direct contact in the billing dept. and never been given one. They sure have no problem automatically taking money out of your bank account each month, but somehow they can't figure out generating an automatic bill to post to your account or to send you via email. Seems like it should be illegal for them to take your money without offering you a bill of services first. Also, the recordings are spotty and the distance it detects movement is not very long range. It doesn't always seem to follow all the movement, but a person has to get close and it seems to cut off within 45 seconds at most. If you can, go with another company for more protection and more transparent billing.

Green Option And Low Maintenance
Solid and well made, keeps my Arlo 4 Spotlight camera at 100% charge level day in and day out. I initially did a full charge using the DC power supply before positioning in my main entry way and the panel does a superb job of topping off. It helps the location is South facing getting 6-8 hours of direct sun daily depending on the time of year. Works great so far.

Best Option
I bought one of these, and 3 Wasserstein solar charging devices in July. The Arlo certified solar panel works great, but I had to return all three of the Wasserstein panels because they would not charge my device, or stopped working before the 90 day warranty ran out. Don't go the cheap route. Get the Arlo brand if you don't want to be climbing ladders in the middle of winter to charge your cameras

Cable length could be a problem as its hardwired so not sure how you would extending it ? Just be careful of that

The panel works great and seems to be the best method for charging the Arlo mounted outside. Charges quickly. Very satisfied

Ernsthaft mal.
