Easy Steps to Chinese Vol.1, Workbook, Simplified Characters Version

The books arrived earlier than I expected. They are brand new. I am very happy with the speed of service and the quality of the books. I bought the books for our local school.

This book was required for one of my kids. The book came clean and she states it is useful and easy to follow. My Mandarin is non-existent so I can't speak to the quality of the writing. But the book itself is well made. It seems to progress logically. And maybe most important it looks like it will hold up for more than 6 months. It works well with the textbook though to my untrained eye they don't seem to correlate 100%. We will see.

This book is to be used in conjunction with the textbook 1, it has comprehensive character writing and different modes of exercises for students to learn the materials better. If your school can afford these I'd get one for each student, other wise scanning and printing isn't a bad option either. I recommend it with the teacher's book too if you are teacher!

I ordered 2 of the same workbook. One is real (color/good paper) and one is a cheap black and white copy. I’m keeping one, but now I have to return the other. Such a pain. Should have read the reviews first.

Perfect book for beginners and who would like to start Chinese language from scratch.

Use for school book is good but otherwise one month to ship is way too long

I liked that there are recurring exercises. Even across units .
