Superior coupler in comparison to others and price was cheaper. Compared a coupler at Tractor Supply (TSC) and the TSC was $63.30 more expensive. I will definitely get another Demco Ez Latch next time!

Finally got around to upgrading the coupler on my dump trailer. These couplers are proven and dummy proof. Will be putting these on every trailer I have from now on

This is was a great purchase, the coupler is very strong, well built, and bolted right in to the adjustable channel on my new to me dump trailer. I needed this in order to use the S5 Coupler lock I bought, this is the perfect combo. I also love the ease of use without the need for a locking pin and the automatic latching system makes hooking up so much easier and convenient. Slipped right on to my 2 5/16 ball with no issues as all. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my other trailer the day I got this one put on.

I picked this up to replace the other coupler on my Big Tex trailer (other coupler was a CURT 25330 style one). My old coupler had developed play, and through a Big Tex dealer, I confirmed this is the replacement. Easy to install, HOWEVER, for max capacity, you need to use (4) grade 8 bolts through the coupler & trailer channel. You can use just 2 long bolts, but then the coupler won't be able to reach max capacity (but should be plenty for a 1/4 ton truck like a 1500/150). Demco sells a hardware kit for this coupler for ~$25. Or, do what I did and hit up your local hardware store (Ace generally has a good selection) for some grade 8 bolts, nylock nuts, and washers. Another thing... So, the Demco hardware kit contains bolts that are about 1.75" long. These are virtually impossible to find. I would up using 2" long bolts w/ 2 washers for each bolt, which provided JUST ENOUGH space between each bolt on the inside of the coupler. This trailer is also dummy-proof to latch... Remove the pin (not included) and simply lower the coupler onto the ball on your tow vehicle. It automatically pops up, then down and locks itself into place. As long as the latch is flat against the coupler, you're good. To uncouple, flip up the latch and raiser the trailer.

The Demco coupler is best. I currently have 4 trailers with 2 using Demco coupler, but plan to switch the other two to Demco (2 5/16"). I definitely will buy again.

Best heavy duty coupler on the market for pulling up to 21,000 lbs….highly recommended for equipment trailers and dump trailers with bolt on couplers ! Make sure to change to a fresh 20,000 lbs 2 5/16 ball at the same time for nice even wear!

I live by these Demco EZ Latches, I have 11 trailers and have converted all the trailers that dont come with these standard from factory to these Demco EZ Latches. 100% worth the money, especially on heavier trailers as you can just drop it on the ball no need to be perfectly aligned like the normal latch style. And go with Demco, not the cheaper knockoffs as these dont need adjusting when you buy them. Some need adjusting under the coupler after purchase or certain amount of use etc.

Seems good - but not really tested

This hitch is amazing. Early to use, easy to lubricant, very simple design compared to “standard” hitch. Surprised by the plastic handle. How robust it is also. No heavy impacts on it. Easy to install.

Worked exceptionally well, would by again!

I love it. It snugs on to the ball with ease and you can hear the click as the latch engages.
