We LOVE this game.
We love this game. This has become our girls’ (ages 6 & 4) go to game. We love it so much that we gifted it to our 5 year old niece for Christmas. A few things - in all fairness of the review: I have a degree in Wildlife Biology. One of my girls’ first phrases was the song of the chickadee. Our movie and popcorn nights feature David Attenborough documentaries. My girls know their animals - like I was blown away when playing this game how many animals they knew. It has been such a fun game for us. My niece’s family are not quite as nerdy (self-proclaimed) as we are. When playing at Christmas, I had to switch to the kids team (10, 8, 5) to tell them what the animals were (my oldest got annoyed that they called a tortoise a turtle and ended up wandering away from the game). For those unfamiliar with a wide range of animals, a key or the name of the animal on the cards would be so beneficial!! This is really the only drawback I have for this game. However, this game still brought a different aspect of game playing that I appreciate so much. Especially for those over competitive kids. It was hard for some of the kids to get over the “I want to win” mind-set and comprehend that the point of the game was to help the other team. The kids get good at looking at details and deducing. Example: does this turtle have flippers or feet; so does it live on land or water. So very educational, and lead to some fun conversations! Also, I absolutely love that it is a success when the other team gets it right!

Fantastic educational and fun game for my 5-year-old!
My 5 year old, homeschool kindergartener isn't super into games like his older siblings. However, we played this at an afterschool program at our library and he loved it so much we immediately ordered it! While it is excellent for pre k and Kindergarten, as well as maybe 1st and 2nd graders, it is still fun for my 5th grader to play with my 5-year-old. The game play is simple and fun. A round takes about 3 minutes, so you cans spend as much or little time as you have!

Whole family loves it
This game is a lot of fun, teaches the kids about animals, and is simple to play. My kids are 2.5 and 4.5. My 2.5 year old isn't great at playing this but has already learned a handful of new animals and is getting better with providing accurate clues. My 4.5 year old loves this game and even likes to stretch her brain muscles, guessing the animals while I give her clues. Overall this is a super fun family game that I'd recommend to anyone with kids.

Some of the animals are too hard to guess
We actually loved this game, but it is tough for the younger kids and even some adults. Most of the animals are recognizable but others are animals you really never hear talk of. My wife and I at age 50 found that a few of the animals to guess, we never even heard of, and the kids had too much trouble with even more of them. For ages 4 and up I feel they could have done a little better in choosing the animals. I can understand that it cannot be too easy but too hard is not fun either. The game is divided into hard and easy guesses, and I found that a lot of the "hard" guesses were easier than the easy ones and vice versa. This game could have almost been the perfect game, just needed a little more common-sense thought put into it in my opinion.

Loved this Game!
My Elemenetary Education teacher required one of these for the classroom to teach to kiddos. They loved them a lot, and this game was easily modifiable for the kiddos since they get competitive. Highly recommend this game for anyone whos teaching in grades k-2 or has kids aged 6-10!!

Perfect kids game, charades with pictures
My 8 year old loves this game. Its simple, teams or cooperative. Limited replay as they deck of cards gets stagnate after a while. But there is a more family weight Concept game as your kids grow. Overall a great creative game that works well with kids and groups of kids.

Great for all ages of kids!
This game is fantastic. I first played it with the 3rd-4th graders in my board game after school club, then bought it for my almost 4 year old nephew for Christmas. Both loved it, and it’s even fun as the ‘grown-up’ to be the guesser. Better than the original game IMO!
