M1 Carbine Sling Oiler and Buttstock Type Pouch Marked JT&L 1942 Khaki

It's a well made replica down to the markings on the back. The sling and oiler fit perfectly in the WWII stock that I am using to make a 1990s Carbine look like an original.

The build quality looks great. I have a Ruger 10/22 with a M1 Carbine stock and it fit perfectly on to it. The color and fit/finish was great and the delivery time was about half of what I originally anticipated. The Ruger 10/22 magazines will not fit in the pouches, which i figured, but still looks really nice.

It is exactly what my husband was looking for to replace the rotting original leather strap as well having the 2 magazine storage.

The sling and oiler work great and fit well, I have not put the pouch on as it's not really intended to go on the stock and I don't want to scratch mine, as a belt type it works great and holds two magazines really well. The bad part, my oiler that I received was rusty. I saw it in the bag and figured "oh wow, they put it in cosmoline, COOL!" but that's not the case. I couldn't let the lid off and even trying with pliers and channel locks I could not get it to budge and ended up marring the oiler. I left it as is because I'm never going to use it for its actual purpose anyways and it works to hold the sling in, sort of disappointing though. For the price I would definitely say it's a good deal though, well made product minus my experience with the oiler.

Bought for Dad's old M1 Carbine that he put a new replacement birch stock on. The oiler slot required inletting, probably the fault of the new stock, not this kit. Ours came in a light khaki tan color typical of early WWII and/or the North African campaign, not the OD green associated with later in the war and the Korean War. Cotton canvas, metal hardware, compact but very functional oiler bottle. I am not a historian nor did I serve in the military, but if you're looking for a reasonably priced set for your M1 Carbine I don't think you'll go wrong with this.

Authentically reproduced items for the US M-1 carbine. I followed videos on YouTube for both the oiler/sling and stock magazine holder installation. Definitely worthwhile to buy the bundle and save a couple shekels. I just need to add more 15-rd mags.
