This is an updated review. I purchased this product in April before some of the reviews were available, saying that it does not work with the Dell E6540, my laptop. I experienced the same bad performance as other reviewers with the first battery that I received, and I wrote a highly critical review of the product. The seller responded immediately with an offer to send me a new battery. I received it in just two days and I am now very satisfied. The battery was fully charged in less than one-half hour and is performing flawlessly. I suspect that my initial battery was defective, but the seller did the very best that she could to solve the problem. I commend her for outstanding customer service and can now recommend the product without reservation.

If you let these batteries go uncharged for a week or more they will apparently no longer take a charge. The one that came with a new laptop was dead on first use. This product arrived in three days and I had to use it immediately. It is working well so far. It was charged when I got it. The second battery I ordered is just as good as the first. The first was power spiked by a windows update, down to zero charge. It's still working fine though.

It fit perfectly in my dell latitude e6440 the color matched well . It isint the best battery but granted my computer is running windows 10 on this old pc so it holds for about 3.5 to 4 hour charge on power save mode it’s better than the worn out original battery so I’d say it’s worth the money

The battery works fine but I ran into that problem with most Dell computers. They make everything so damn proprietary that the battery isn't recognized by the laptop as an official Dell battery and it wants to reboot or shut down the laptop occasionally. This becomes a problem when you are in the middle of doing something and the laptop shuts down because of the battery not being recognized by the Dell laptop

Batteries don't have to be expensive..

When I first received my batter I was SO excited since my other aftermarket battery stopped taking charge, and also my Dell computer didn’t recognize the battery. First when received I put it in, my computer did an automatic update for whatever reason, when stated my battery was critically low. Once it started up, my Dell started the cleaning process, then stated that my ax adapter was unrecognizable. So once it finally turned on and I was able to log in, my battery stated it was at 0%… not even charging whatsoever. Computer doesn’t even recognize this piece of JUNK. I don’t know why the other reviewers are lying because I have a worthless buy. I rather just buy the actual Dell batter cause this one SUCKS. Do NOT buy I will be getting a full refund!!!

Purchased this Amanda N3X1D battery for my E6420 XFR on June 22nd 2025. It arrived the next day as expected. Right out of the box, the Battery Management System (BMS) reports it's 42% charged. BMS states the designed capacity is 55.5Wh / 5000 mAh. The last know full charge capacity out of the box states 58.8Wh. This is expected as new cells typically has slightly higher capacity than the designed capacity on day 0. I then gave it a full charge, full discharge, full charge workout (i.e. manual battery re-calibration). It can hold a total of 60.0 Wh. Really impressed with the numbers. I never expected it to be a 65Wh to begin with, and had considered that a typo in product details when I placed the order. So when the BMS says 55.5Wh designed capacity, that's completely within my expectation of '56Wh'. Now that it's recalibrated and confirmed it can hold 60.0Wh on day 1, I would say it's well worth the CAD$40.
