Diamancel Luxury Diamond Nail File – #2 Medium Grit - For Most Average Thickness Fingernails (Regular Size)

Sometimes you need a nail file to smooth out or reshape a nail. If you are grown up enough to have your life and things somewhat organized, it is worth investing in one of these. It is sufficiently expensive that if you are prone to setting things down and forgetting where you put them, or others in your household will walk away with it, think twice. At Thanksgiving, visiting family, I was touching up a rough spot that was driving me crazy. My sister-in-law said she used to have one years ago. She asked to borrow it and commented on how well these things work. I had a brainstorm and realized a stocking stuffer for her. Later, I realized I needed to get two more for my nieces also. Everyone loved them. Use, rinse off, tap to shed the water, return to its designated location. It goes next to my Seki Edge nail clippers. The number 2 Diamancel is the perfect grit.

For yeeears I had a similar nail file called Diamond Dust from Ms Manicure before it finally broke. I purchased this in 2021 after years of searching, and it's still going strong. It's the perfect texture, I usually trim my nails with a straight clipper and then smooth and perfect the shape with this file, but it can also handle filing down on its own. I love that I can disinfect and clean it. I hope it comes back in stock because I want a dedicated one for travel, maybe a mini! Can't recommend it enough. It isn't inexpensive, but you won't need another except for convenience.

I have a Diamancel #1 file that I have had for at least a decade. Other files would get dull after a while but not this one. My nails grow super fast and these files last. I love them.

I was disappointed that it was so lightweight, but it works like a dream. Just a couple of swipes is all it takes to file your nails.

While I really like the thinness and flexibility of this metal emery board, they have not made the abrasive finish to the edge, this has made it tough for me to get in the sides of the nail.

I love this nail file. So glad Amazon brought them back. I have thin weak nails and I’ve been using this file for years. They are extremely long lasting and flexible enough to get into tight spaces on my fingers and toes. I love the fact that they are washable.

I have three Diamancel nail files, #3 Coarse, #1 Fine and this the #2 medium. If you are only going to have one, the medium #2:is the one. It takes down and shapes just fine and leaves a velvety finish. It cuts far cleaner and neater than sapphire files of the same grit. The #3 cuts faster for toenails and thumbnails. It needs to be followed with the #2. The fine #1 is the ultimate finishing file and leaves the nails ultra smooth, a very nice feeling. They are easy to clean with soap and water and come with their own storage sleeves. While they are flexible it doesn’t take much pressure so just let the tool do the work. We both have full set and don’t use clippers or scissors anymore and get a much better result.

I have all three for my natural nail clients. Very durable. Easy to sanitize.

I just love this file. Yes it is expensive in my opinion but I bit the bullet and bought it. I don’t regret the purchase and I’m sure it’s going to last for years. One main reason that I like it is because it DOES NOT SPLIT the end of my nails causing peeling. I highly recommend this file. There is one thing that I wish it had though - a pointed end so you could clean under your nails also.

This is the absolute best nail file you will find in the market. It’s thin, flexible, precise, washable and never wears off. I gave one to my mother and my friends and they could all say the same. I lost mine and had to order a new one because I don’t want anything else.
